What initially interested you in working with ERP?
“As a controller I implemented two ERPs, Macola and Platinum. My Macola VAR enticed me to join his organization and the rest is history. I enjoy thinking outside the box to create working solutions. Plus, the joy on client’s faces when I make their job easier.”
What are some notable challenges you’ve encountered while integrating ERP systems?
“When the managers at a client’s business resisted implementing a new ERP, I informed the president, who then called a company meeting. He announced that he decided to implement an ERP because he believed it would improve internal processes and anyone opposing it would be reassigned. The meeting lasted ten minutes, and no more questions were asked… This taught me that there may be resistance to change within the ranks, therefore it is imperative to have for support from leadership.”
How do you stay updated with the latest advancements in ERP technology and continuously develop your expertise?
“Talking to prospect and clients and asking lots of questions, then helping them find solutions to their problems. Also, continually doing my own research on trends and competition.”
