Manufacturing has never been an industry that runs on autopilot. It runs on people who show up, solve problems, and keeps the line moving. We’re so excited to share that AttivoERP has officially joined the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) as a Corporate Member.
If you’re not familiar with SME, think of it as one of the largest gathering points in the country for the people building the manufacturing industry’s future: manufacturers, educators, engineers, and the next generation of talent coming up behind them.
For us, it means AttivoERP now has a seat at that table, not just as a vendor watching from the sidelines, but as a company invested in solving the same problems our customers are.
Why This & Why Now
Here’s an uncomfortable truth we hear from manufacturers and distributors constantly: the technology is rarely the hardest part.
Finding and keeping the people who can run it well? That’s the real fight. Skilled talent is harder to find than ever, and the manufacturers who are winning are building real pipelines of people who want to be there.
That’s exactly the problem SME Corporate Membership is built around, connecting companies like ours with the educators, institutions, and emerging professionals shaping the next generation of the manufacturing workforce.
For a company that spends its days inside the operations of manufacturers and distributors, joining a community built around solving that exact problem wasn’t a hard decision.
What We’re Actually Doing About It: The Spotlight Series & FABTECH
AttivoERP is going to be a part of SME’s Spotlight Series, a program built around 30-minute virtual sessions that dig into the technologies, research, and ideas actually moving the manufacturing industry forward.
No fluff, no 90-slide decks nobody asked for, just focused, useful insight delivered fast. We’ll be hosting two sessions this year:
The ERP Wake-Up Call Manufacturers Are Actually Heeding
- August 12, 2:00–2:30 p.m. ET — Nick Avila, VP of Sales, and Antonio Munoz, Solutions Engineer at AttivoERP, break down what an ERP system actually is, what it isn’t, and how to tell if your shop is finally ready for one, spreadsheets and whiteboards be damned.
AI Reinvented ERP Migration and Implementation
- September 9, 2:00–2:30 p.m. ET — Len Reo, President & Founder of AttivoERP, tackles the question everyone’s asking and few ERP partners can actually answer: where AI genuinely speeds up an ERP migration, and where it’s just hype.
Both are free, virtual, and open to anyone in the manufacturing community, whether you’re an AttivoERP customer or just someone who likes learning things on their lunch break.
And if you won’t be able to attend these sessions, we’ll also be on the show floor at the FABTECH show this October 21–23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. You can find our team at Booth #C2650 to talk about production planning, inventory visibility, or whatever operational headache is currently keeping you up at night!
Between the Spotlight Series and FABTECH, this fall is shaping up to be a busy one for us, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Head over to our trade show landing page to see where we’ll be, book time with our team, and stay in the loop as more details drop.
